History
In 2011 an equity group that is comprised of Paul Wahlberg, Donnie Wahlberg, and Mark Wahlberg licensed the name “Wahlburger” from Tom Wahl’s to use it in the company’s own restaurant. The family also operates a restaurant called Alma Nove, which opened before Wahlburgers.
Its name comes from the initials of the mother of the brothers in addition to the fact that they had nine children (“nove” is Italian which means nine). It was the first time Wahlburgers was opened on the streets of Hingham, Massachusetts, near Alma Nove, the pre-existing restaurant run by Paul Wahlberg.

Game day! Jays and everyone else! We were still treated by great polite servers and were quickly seated when the server was cleaning up and freeing up tables for us. Quick ordering experience, and well knowledgeable server recommendations for beverages and specials.
Quick service on the food side and excellent food. We’d likely return, but I would prefer calmer times. Even after the game rush, the servers are top first. Bravo!!
The first time we’ve eaten at Wahlburgers. We went for Takeout. My new favorite burger place! I ordered the Summer burger with the perfect flavor! Onion rings are fantastic.
I nearly wept when I ate this burger, it was so good! Highly recommend giving it a trying. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m there! I’d like to have a dine-in experience when the COVID thing goes away. My mouth is already watering. Great job, guys.
